Reflections
In my time during and after the Leavitt Group internship I have reflected on the life changing experiences that I have had. Questions that have entered my mind have been, "Has this experience been worth it to me?", "Can I see myself doing this in 5-10 years?", "what lessons have I learned and how will that help me in the future?". Pondering on each of these questions and being honest with myself about the answer has made the internship experience more worth while for me. Since the experience I have had a profound sense of gratitude for the experience that I gained and the lessons that I learned.

The experience was worth it to me. While there were many other things that I could have been doing with my time, I went in to the office each day knowing that there was no better place for me to be learning how to become an accountant. Through trial and error, the experience that I gained working with the accountants could not have been more beneficial for me. I feel that I worked as hard as I could and got the results and experience that I wanted.

Upon ending the internship, I found myself wanting to keep learning and be in that same office atmosphere that the Leavitt Group provided. I missed the friends that I had made and the experiences that we shared. I even missed doing the hard and sometimes tedious projects that were required of us each day. This nostalgia made me realize that I would love to be an accountant in the future. I feel that it has helped me realize the career path that I want to take and what I need to do to get there.
